Quantum of Solace premiere

Daniel Craig

Daniel Craig and his partner arrive for the world premiere of Quantum of Solace. Craig had his arm in a sling for the screening – it’s reported that he fractured it during filming the movie’s final scenes.

Odeon cinema, Leicester Square

Fans wait for the stars to arrive at the iconic Odeon cinema in Leicester Square. Bond’s 22nd adventure sees the spy out on a mission of revenge and has had largely positive reviews from critics.

Gemma Arterton

Gemma Arterton plays MI6 agent Strawberry Fields – the name an obvious nod to classic Bond girls from the 60s like Pussy Galore. The St Trinians actress was picked from around 1,500 hopefuls.

Olga Kurylenko

The main Bond girl in Quantum of Solace is played by Ukrainian-born actress Olga Kurylenko. She plays Camille, a Russian-Bolivian agent who’s out on her own personal quest for vengeance.

Princes William and Harry

Princes William and Harry chatted with the cast before the screening and also with invited servicemen and veterans. Proceeds from the premiere will go to the Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes.

Jack White and Karen Elson

Jack White (pictured with wife Karen Elson) teamed up with Alicia Keys on the film’s theme song, Another Way to Die. The track has been criticised by some for being too un-Bond-like and experimental.

Elle Macpherson

Supermodel Elle Macpherson was one of many celebrities who took the chance to get a peek at the film. The rest of the UK won’t have to wait long though – it’s released nationwide on 31 October.
